Description
THERE'Azurmalachite (or azurite-malachite) is composed of two minerals, azurite and malachite, both carbonates that owe their color to the oxidation of copper.
The genesis of these gems is linked to the infiltration of strongly acidic waters that dissolve the copper by transforming it and making it sediment into thin layers in the fractures of the rocks. The inclusion of the two minerals is very rare and is the result of an alternating change of the physical-chemical conditions of the growth environment.
