Description
The pyrites it is an iron sulphide that crystallizes in the cubic system and is appreciated by collectors for the complex geometric shapes of crystals.
In ancient times it was used to light the fire thanks to its ability to emit sparks if rubbed with iron or fern. The name comes from the Greek word pyr, that means fire.
