THERE'adventurer is a variety of quartz that is recognized for its brilliant reflections due to the presence of tiny metallic crystals that reflect light. Its composition is mainly based on silicon dioxide (SiO2).

The most diffused color is green, but it can also appear in orange, brown, blue or gray shades. It has a hardness between 6.5 and 7 on the Mohs scale, which makes it quite scratch resistant. Its transparency varies from translucent to opaque.

It is mainly used to make jewelry and decorative objects, appreciated for its bright appearance and its bright colors.
