Description
I do Emerald is a variety of berillo mineral species, belongs to the class of silicates (it is a cyclosilicate of berillius and aluminum), and crystallizes in the hexagonal system.
The color is due to the presence of small amounts of chromium and varies from green on to green with blue shades. In addition, most of the buds have internal characteristics, called in technical jargon "inclusions", or more improperly "giardinetti" due to their resemblance to the moss.
