Description

THERE'Opa is different from other gems as it is amorphus, i.e. without a crystalline structure. The training of the opal takes place through a slow deposition of a colloidal silica gel that, depending on the environment of deposition and formation, can enrich with traces of other mineral substances.

This event can generate opal buds with very interesting colors, as in the case of the yellow opal. To establish which elements give it this particular aspect, however, is not simple.
