Description
The lapis lazuli is a precious stone of intense blue color, composed of a set of minerals.
Depending on the proportions of the mineral components, the color of the lapislazzuli varies from blue with green shades, to intense blue. Very appreciated is the presence of crystals of pyrites whose contrast with the blue night of the lapis evokes a starry sky.
It has been used since ancient times to create jewels, amulets and art objects.
