The typical color of lipradorite is the grey that, combined with the optical phenomenon called labradorescence gives the gem an amazing visual dynamicity. This phenomenon is generated by the interference of light on the crystals and is manifested with light flashes colored from blue to green to yellow, visible on the surface of the stone.
