Description

The Pearl Mabè, also called "half pearl", it is produced by inserting a nucleus of half-pearl half-pearl between the body of the mollusk and one of the two valves. The bivalve reacts covering the core inserted with layers of mother-of-pearl for a period between one and three years, after which the Mabè is ready to be worked.
