Description
TheAmmolite It is derived from the fossil shell of extinct marine organisms, the ammonites, of two species in particular: Placenticeras Meeki and Placenticeras Intercalate.
The shell, originally composed of aragonite, in the fossilization process it has been enriched with silica, pyrite and other minerals that together contribute to conferring the inimitable iridescent multicolor. The more this is visible, the more the specimen is sought and of value.
The crafted I would require special care and the only possible cut is the cabochon.
