Description
The Tanzanite It is a variety of zoised mineral species that exhibits an unmistakable color that varies from blue, to bluish purple to violet blue. A strong pleocroism that makes it even more special is clearly visible.
It was discovered in 1967 in Tanzania, when a member of the Masai tribe stumbled over a group of beautiful blue-purple crystals.
