TheAzurmalachite (or AZZURRITE-MALCHITE) is composed of two minerals, blue and malachite, both carbonates that have their own color to the oxidation of copper.
The genesis of these gems is linked to strong acid water infiltration that dissolve the copper by transforming it and making it sediment in thin layers in the fractures of the rocks. The coexistence of the two minerals is very rare and is the outcome of an alternative to modify the physical-chemical conditions of the growth environment.
